PENGARUH SENAM YOGA TERHADAP KESIAPAN FISIK DAN PSIKOLOGIS DALAM MENGHADAPI PERSALINAN DI KLINIK PRATAMA SURYA MEDIKA BANDAR LAMPUNG

Yoga is a holistic health system for the soul, mind and body which is carried out using a system of smooth, non-stop movements guided by harmonious breathing. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted by the author at the Community Health Center with interviews, most pregnant women do not know the benefits of yoga during pregnancy, this can be seen from whether or not the mother regularly does yoga exercises at the Community Health Center so that the mother still feels anxious and has difficulty sleeping. This research aims to determine the effect of pregnant women's yoga exercises on physical and psychological readiness for childbirth at the Kesumadadi Community Health Center. This research uses analytical methods with a cross sectional design. This research was conducted on 40 pregnant women who participated in pregnancy yoga exercises. Based on the results of statistical tests using chi-square, it shows that with α<0.05, ρ=0.00 is obtained, which means less than 0.05, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is an influence of pregnant women's yoga exercises on physical and psychological readiness in facing childbirth at the Kesumadadi Community Health Center. It is hoped that it can become material to increase knowledge about pregnancy yoga exercises and that pregnant women can do pregnancy yoga exercises regularly because pregnancy yoga exercises have many benefits for pregnant women regarding physical and psychological readiness in facing childbirth.
